The ONEkids Team creates energetic, fun and safe environments for your kids to experience God's love for them: ONEsies (Birth-2), youngONEs (2-3 1/2), littleONEs (3 1/2-5), bigONEs (K-5th).
Melinda was born in Alaska to a missionary family who lived in several states and the country of Jordan. Her father became a Military Chaplain and moved the family to Arkansas. there, Melinda met Rob, who was also in the military, and married at 18 years old. They have been moving around the U.S. for the last 12 years. Their son, Nathan, is nine years old and goes to Walker Butte.
Melinda has studied at various colleges and worked in different jobs in banking, business, and education. She enjoys physical fitness, music, drama, and the creative arts. Working with kids has been a deep love of hers for many years. She's been a camp counselor, Sunday School Teacher, AWANA teacher, VBS leader, taught elementary school reading classes, and helped with afterschool programs and summer camp for at-risk kids.
We are thrilled to have Melinda bring her heart, passion, experience, and love for Jesus to our children and families here at ONE. She is raring to go - ready to expand and develop our ONEKids Team of volunteers to create an amazing experience for our kids each and every week!
